Be so good they would be stupid not to work with you

I’ve never been good at office politics.
You know, where the good ‘ole boys keep promoting themselves.
So, I chose a different route.
I decided whatever I did – salesperson, creating services, creating products, or in my role as a Fractional Sales Leader, I had to be so good founders and companies would be stupid not to work with me.
Have I gotten there? I hope so. I keep trying. Even at 73.
It's because I’m a lifelong learner committed to being the best at whatever I do.
How about you?
Are your products, services, or skills so good that you know, and can make the case that they are so good, a company would fall behind by not utilizing that excellence.
